Royal Porcelain Blue and White ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms' Jar

The original was in the collection of Sir Joseph Hotung.（何鴻卿）, who bequeathed it to the British Museum in 2021.

This jar shape thick full, dignified and majestic. The abdomen mainly depicts the Three Kingdoms period Liu Bei, Guan Gong, Zhang Fei three times to Zhuge Liang's hut to ask him to come out. The painting on the Jar was exquisite. Zhuge Liang sat on the rocks and listened to the family boy’s news. He stood beside him a book boy with two hands holding a book. Outside the fence, Liu Bei, dressed in embroidered robes, bowed and paid homage to him. Guan Yu looked back to stop Zhang Fei from shouting. Characters form, demeanor lifelike, is the Yuan dynasty blue and white in the best of the best.

The artworks we display and sell are replicas of the originals, all handmade by famous ceramic artists in Jingdezhen. From the molding of the printing embryo to the painting, pouring of glaze, and mounting of the firing, they are all fired one to one according to the Yuan blue and white craftsmanship. All items are handcrafted by folk artists and craftmen. It usually takes about 3 months to finish a product. We kindly suggest that you contact us before you place an order. Each order is carefully inspected and packaged before it leaves our warehouse to avoid damage during transit.

These handcrafted masterpieces are not allowed for return, except for quality issues, damage, or wrong items upon the receipt of items.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.

As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
